The salar is absolutely huge, we drove our car at max speed (150+km/h) and still it took us a long time to get to the "island".

You can still see the mountains like 40km away (outside the salar) but other than that it's just white ground and blue sky.

I don't know if the salar always have this pattern or if that changes with seasons, rain etc.

	Yes it was definitely one of those places you remember for a long time to come. Just standing there and looking on a huge flat surface as long as the eye would reach, really cool

	Hehe actually I never felt them when we played around, but at 150km/h we drove where most people had driven. In fact it was even black from tires (as the salt sandpapers it away) You could fall trough the salt btw, we saw some holes like about 50cm deep. Would not be fun to go trough with the car at 150km/h
